A skin fade is blended all the way down to bare skin, so there is no visible line where the hair stops. It is the most requested cut at El Saky, and every barber on our floor does it.
The three differ in where the fade starts on your head. If you are unsure, tell your barber how short you want the sides and he will recommend one.
The fade begins around the temple, roughly halfway up the side of the head. The most balanced of the three and the easiest to grow out.
The fade begins just above the ear, low on the head. It keeps more length on the sides, so it is the subtlest option.
The neckline and edges are squared off clean rather than faded into the natural hairline. Sharpest looking, and the one that grows out fastest.
A skin fade with a beard trim and hot towel is $65 as one service, which is less than booking the cut and the beard separately. If you want the full treatment, The El Saky Experience is $150 and includes the haircut, beard trim, facial mask and more.
